Khaver is a British artist born in Pakistan and completed a Foundation in art. Her work is informed by her living life as a constant enthusiast, despite overtones of "not belonging." She confesses to being unashamedly obsessed with the heart and all things circular. In science, colour is a sensation experienced through the eyes because of the differing wavelength of lightwaves. To Khaver colour is a medium through which she expresses emotion felt in the heart. The metaphors she offers the viewer, peppered with hearts, circles and the occasional teapot, strike a chord universally. For Khaver the value of life is in the human experience of the ineffable-when the heart and mind turn harmoniously towards the Absolute. Where words fail, her work provides a remedy. Her favourite quote, “Hearts find peace in the remembrance of God." from the Quran appears constantly in her work.
